From ConSoil to AquaConSoil. Due to current trends in environmental science, technology and policy, Deltares and UFZ – the organizers – decided to widen the scope of the conference and indicate that by chosing a new name for the conference: AquaConSoil. The topic »Water resources management in water scarcity regions« has been added to the list of Themes. Beside traditional themes, the AquaConSoil in April 2013 thus will provide high quality lectures dealing with specific issues of arid/semiarid regions: Assessment of water quantity, quality and vulnerability as well as solutions against salinization of soil-water systems.
